Auction 109 - Boonville 300A 107.9

The paperwork for Boonville has been filed. The proposed 155-watt ERP station (591M HAAT) will employ a directional antenna nulled to the east to protect the new 107.9 station in Sacramento. Still, the 60dBu contour will encompass Ukiah from an existing tower on Sanel Mountain. That's not a bad piece of engineering work for a $4875 net winning bid. Brian J Henry of Napa was the lone bidder and wrote the engineering study. Congrats!

The summary is here:

The engineering study indeed is a work of art:

The real story here is the poor bidder from the previous FCC Auction 62 (2006) that defaulted on their Boonville payment. Now that the "difference price" has been calculated, Wilber Johnson (the defaulting winner) is now on the hook to the Feds for $262,400.
