Audacy Adds The Weather Channel Networks To Streaming Platform

yeah, while it's just a deal to stream AMG owned content, but i can see Byron Allen's now got his sight set on Audacy in his "Buyout companies to make my media empire bigger" Strategy. also wouldn't be surprised if he tries to buy out either Standard General or TEGNA now that that merger is dead.

Audacy is going to take a while till it is sellable. There is the lien holders and IIRC there are bonds coming due after that. I personally don't know the terms of the bonds, but I am sure they will have a be "paid" on time or are part of some kind of prepackaged deal. I don't know how many people Audacy owe, but they might not have all the same "outlook" so any deal will be difficult.
