Audacy boosters in the East Bay

The FCC today granted CPs for ten booster applications for KLLC and KITS, covering various areas in the East Bay that are terrain-shadowed from the stations' main transmitter sites. The booster locations will be co-located with existing boosters for other stations - KQED, KIOI, KMVQ, KBLX are cited in some but not all the applications. It appears a common antenna for all boosters at each site will be used. The locations will be:

  • Rocky Ridge - covering Alamo, Danville, San Ramon
  • Briones Peak - covering Concord, Benicia, Martinez, Pittsburg
  • Vollmer Peak - covering Orinda, Lafayette, Walnut Creek, Concord; but missing part of Moraga
  • Wiedemann Hill - covering Pleasanton, Dublin, Livermore
  • Location just west of Bay Point - coverage along Highway 4, including Pittsburg and Antioch
There's no indication regarding plans for existing boosters in the area. There is significant overlap between some of the boosters. There's no indication regarding support for separate messages on individual boosters; a technology that has been discussed recently.

I don't find applications for similar boosters for the other Audacy stations, KGMZ, KRBQ, or KFRC-FM.
