Audacy Boston has to move very shortly

Has there been a hint of what they plan to do?

The Zoning Board of Appeal today approved an eight-story, 333-unit apartment complex on Leo Birmingham Parkway at Market Street in Brighton, razing what has long been home to a series of radio stations but keeping a grove of trees up towards Soldiers Field Road.

The plans, by developer Nordblom, call for 52 affordable units, and a total of 175 parking spaces.

Roofs will be topped with solar panels.

Scott Fybush reports

*Where are Audacy’s Boston stations now that the company has sold off their longtime home at the former WSBK-TV building at 83 Leo Birmingham Parkway?

It’s not a move that’s getting much publicity, but we’re told sports WEEI, variety hits “Big 103” WBGB, hot AC “Mix” WBMX and AC “Magic” WMJX have quietly made their new home in space being rented from public broadcaster GBH along Market Street in Brighton, halfway between Leo Birmingham and the previous Entercom facility on Guest Street.
