Audacy Contest

Audacy is providing people who listen to one of their stations through their app for at least an hour a day the opportunity to win $5,000.
It's interesting that this is apparently not being offered to those that listen to the stations over the air. Perhaps this is an indication they are prioritizing online broadcasting, as their future.

Contest Details

This is nothing new. Many companies including iHeart, Townsquare, Hubbard and Audacy have been doing this for years...

Here's what it comes down to... With streaming, you have EVERY SINGLE analytic you could want about a listener. You know their accurate location, demographics for their user account, how and when they listen making it easier to monetize as opposed to the data provided by Nielsen.

How does that work, call the "contest line" at this moment, or are they just randomly selecting listeners.
