Audacy Greenville MM exits as part of restructuring

Steve Sinicropi exits after thirteen years as SVP/Market Manager in Greenville SC. Sinicropi has led the Greenville cluster since March 2013 after previously spending a decade across town in the same role for Cox Media Group. Earlier in his career, Sinicropi was VP/GM of WKRK-FM Detroit from 1998 to 2003 and All Pro Broadcasting Milwaukee from 1987 to 1998.

He will be replaced by New Orleans Market Manager Dan Barron, who will also oversee Greensboro, New Orleans, Memphis, and Chattanooga.

The big companies seem to be getting rid of top managers and replacing them with one "regional" person. I guess it makes sense. Honestly? These days, unless it's a larger, local company like a car dealer or something like a big plumbing/HVAC company, who can really advertise through a local sales person? Spots on radio are expensive.
