I guess with the current audacy situation with their CHR's all over the country. The fact that they are syndicating personalities on WBMX. I assume that it's current classic hip hop format is here to stay for a while

Audacy question

Audacy makes another change Greg Solk becomes VP of Programming operations at the Audacy Chicago cluster.
Solk resurrected 93XRT from the grave. He's earned the promotion, but I'm not sure who the heir apparent is at the station. The promotion raises a lot of questions about the future of XRT, who is one of the last truly unique stations in the Audacy lineup, and plays a lot of music Audacy doesn't otherwise touch. Not to mention the stellar, fully staffed DJ lineup who are allowed some autonomy over song choices, which is another "last of its kind" situation.
I guess we'll have a better idea before the end of August.

What's for sure is that Audacy doesn't mess with success when it comes to a station like XRT. They're not going to be making drastic changes after Solk is replaced.
