Audience Numbers for Decades Channels

Would anyone know if XM publishes or in any way releases information on what kind of numbers of listeners each decade channel has? I didn't know if they do any kind of listener surveys or not. Any info out there?

A year or two ago they had a blurb that the 70s, 60s, 80s and 20on20 all had over a million cume each and 70s had about 2.1 million listeners.
I'll see if I can find the publication, but it was about 2-3 years back.

They're in the investor relations part of the XM media site in Powerpoint files. The 80s, 70s, and Top 20 on 20 are the only channels XM openly publishes numbers for. Everything else is private and not distributed. If you ever hear an AM/FM host simulcasting on XM say "I have [insert number] listeners on XM." that person is lying.

I think that is all hogwash. How would XM have ANY idea of how many people are tuned to a specific channel? The streaming XM online I can see, but not from the XM receivers.

The same way Arbitron has any idea. They send out surveys.

Is XM really sending surveys? I haven't read that anywhere. That could explain it, but I haven't read anything about XM doing that.
