Audio: 96.7 The Coast's Final Hour - May 20, 2011

Ask, and ye shall receive... There is now a scoped aircheck of the final hour of 96.7 The Coast on Airchexx.com:
http://airchexx.com/2011/06/08/the-...ort-chesterstamford-ct-signs-off-may-20-2011/

You'll hear liners heard on the station up until its final days (in fact, the very first one you hear goes "Thank you for making the switch" ::) ). Then, starting with the liner before the final song, "Love Train," you hear a jingle for the frequency's previous format, "Kool 96.7"! (A bizarro take on CBS-FM returning to the air with a recued "Summer Wind," perhaps?) Said jingle includes a "shout" for Mike Raab, who incidentally is credited with contributing the jingle to Airchexx. Then, after an unknown song, we hear alternating "Coast" and "Kool" liners until the transmitter goes dark.

If you want to play along at home, here's the final hour of music heard on (The New) 96.7 The Coast.
