Audio Loggers

Hey folks, we are looking at upgrading or replacing our audio logging software. Currently our imedia logger 2, it works fairly well but is a bit cumbersome and showing its age. We had looked at imedia logger 4 and the new(to the US) Audio Vault Logger from BE. What are you guys using to log your stations?

I run Audiovault for automation, but I love BSI Skimmer Plus for logging. I use an Audio Science card and it handles 4 stations. It never crashes and runs a super simple web interface that you can allow users (consultants or gm's) to remotely login and get audio very easily. It is priced good too. I've never had a single problem with it.

Telos Profiler. It does what we need it to. It's hardware dependent...meaning it uses proprietary soundcards. To monitor 4 "streams" in mono...we had to buy two cards.

Pristine Systems Blackbox logger. Uses Audioscience AM/FM tuner card - will log 8 off-air signals simultaneously. We have it tied into our network so it can be accessed from any room in the building.

If you want to "roll your own", VRS from NCH Swift Sound can't be beat. Has remote access, remote monitoring (great for creating private "listen lines" for the consultant to use) and it's cheap ($139 for a single channel, $640 for unlimited). http://www.nch.com.au/vrs/index.html

I have used both the STIRLITZ Media Logger http://www.stirlitzmedia.com/
and
the BSI Skimmer Plus (as mentioned previously).
I have been very happy with both. The Stirlitz is much fancier and pretty to look at and use. The BSI skimmer is a little more simple.
