What is the deal with the sound on KISS-FM (KHKS)? Maybe it's only during Kraddick's show ( I don't listen in the afternoon) but to my untrained ears, Kidd, Kelly and Al all sound okay but when they cut to local music or traffic, it sounds like I am listening to it through a garden hose. Is this HD interference? I'm sure one of you engineer types can help explain it to little ol' me. Sidenote: The Ticket's signal has gotten progressivly worse over the last few months... are they tinkering with that audio as well?
 
The audio has gotten worse and worse over at KHKS. They have the tools to make it sound GREAT but alas... It does not. Don't forget about the High Frequency noise(hum) (you can hear it in quiet songs, if you have good ears and a good radio with tweeters). Other than that, it just sounds like a wall of audio...
Check out KBFB's audio.. They are loud and agressive but sound good for the format.. Not to mention KVIL is sounding better lately too!
