I can't describe exactly what's wrong, but the processing on Power 98.3 just doesn't sound right. Did something change recently that caused the audio quality to deteriorate? Was it related to the rain on Christmas Day? I was out of town for most of last week, so if anything did happen, I didn't notice it initially.
As a side note, a couple of my friends (both females in their mid to late 20's), who are average radio listeners at best, told me how much they were enjoying KKFR's "12 Days of Mixmas" -- particularly 2001 and the years that preceded it. They almost never talk to me about what they hear on the radio, so this definitely got my attention.
