Just the live announcements? You could... use the same setup I described but run your microphone through a pre-amp before going into the line-in jack, then run that into your board.
I wouldn't recommend it, however. Two reasons. One, there's quite a bit of latency in the audio chain, so there will be a delay between when you speak and when that audio actually gets to the board. Two, setting up Sound Solution for voice alone is difficult enough, but for this application, you'd want to leave enough dynamic range in the processed audio for the final processor to work with. It could be done, but it would take a lot of time and tweaking.
Again, though, I stress the delay aspect. That alone would turn me away from the idea.
