Audio: Rich Stevens on WEOK/WALL - 7/22/13 & 7/24/13

In case you missed this show this past week, Rich Stevens did a great job hosting 2 of his special shows on WEOK/WALL's "True Oldies Channel" at 1340 and 1390 AM, a competitor to WGNY-FM's "Fox Oldies" where it seem to go nowhere in the Poughkeepsie ratings. I recorded these two shows on tape. One is the Monday show and then the Wednesday show. The Wednesday show was nearly completed, because I got home late after the meeting after I started recording it. The aircheck sounded a bit awkward, because it's an AM station, and it had some static at time when you listen to it. But "Fox Oldies" on the other hand, sounded a lot better on FM, but I cannot tell the difference between these two stations except for WBPM in which it almost sounded the same except for playing 80's songs.

And speaking of the station, I remember visiting the radio station WEOK back around 1998 or 1999 where Rich Stevens was hosting the "Sunday Morning Trading Post" show, and it's great to see Rich Stevens in person at the studio and we had a great time with the folks at Anderson School. What a flashback has been.

Nuff said, here are the two shows with Rich Stevens as heard on WEOK/WALL this past week. In addition to these two shows, I added a bonus, Warren Lawrence interviewing Rich Stevens as heard on WKNY Thursday morning, the day after his show talking about his days at WKIP, WHVW, WBAZ and WCZX. I recorded the show as of late, because it started at 8:30 AM instead of 8:40 AM, the time was around 8:33 AM, but I missed the first 3 minutes of it. He talks about his new book called "The Easiest Diet in the World... And It Works" which is now available at Barnes & Noble and on Amazon website. He wrote many of his books after he left radio, but I going to share with you right now.

Here is the two shows featuring Rich Stevens. I hope you will like it.

No I haven't. This is all I have, but I didn't record it on a stream, because TuneIn app didn't stream, so they swotched to a different station instead of this. I guess maybe WEOK/WALL has streaming via iHeartRadio, but I'm not really sure
