We have a set of Tieline G-1's (A Commander and an I-Mix0 and love them. However, we have an issue with using them in our Home Arena for College basketball in that they have a VoIP Pots line from a router at the arena. We have thusfar used a workaround for home games by using a 450 MHz relay from the arena to the studio and Standard Phone line for an IFB. (Very Close Geographically). My question is...
Does anyone have any experience using AUDIO TX over IP. We tested the Demo and it was atrocious. All kinds of dropped connections, garbled audio, etc.. We DID test it over a dialup direct connection, with not real robust computers, though. Does anyone have experience with this? Does it really Work? Is there a better solution?
Of course the usual caveats of "Easy to use" - "HArd to break" - "Costs virtually nothing" "Need it yesterday" etc etc.. Apply.
Thanks
