You've probably realized by now that come every Thursday, I like to post a few radio airchecks posted to YouTube on a few boards, usually including this one. And this Thursday is no exception.

Listen to this clip from October 9, 1982, as Tony Brown hosts "The Quiet Storm" on WDAS-FM. It's a "Brown night" in Philadelphia...

(The visual on the clip is a bumper sticker circa 1983, with a logo bearing a lightning bolt, and the word "Juice." I wonder if Gatorade sued them for intellectual property? ::))
 
tony left WDAS in 1990 to go to power 99 he then left power in 97 to go back to WDAS

i might have the first half wrong but i know he went back to 105.3 in 1997
