Audio: WGNY "Fox Oldies" - 7/4/13

It's been a few weeks since I haven't posted post it since I came home. Like I said in the latest Poughkeepsie and Hudson Valley radio ratings, WGNY's "Fox Oldies" still didn't show up. When I was visiting in Florida on July 4th, I used TuneIn and I record all day of "Fox Oldies" beginning with Van Ritshie all the way to Joe Manglass. These are are from Independence Day which was 2 and a half weeks ago. This is what the station should sounded a lot like WCBS-FM when it first hit the airwaves back on 7/7/72. I remember when "Fox Oldies" played Dion's "Runaround Sue" which was the very first song that played on CBS-FM when it was an oldies station at that time which was 1972. But now, CBS-FM is in its 41st year as what is now a classic hits station in NYC. You can hear what the station sounded like when it compares to the original CBS-FM back when it was an oldies station back in 1972 through 1976, 1977, 1978 and so on. Will start thing off with Van Ritshie in the 8 AM hour, but I didn't recorded the first two hours since I was awake. Here they are in order.

I hope you all enjoy these airchecks, but tell us what you think about these airchecks that I recorded when I was visiting in Florida on July 4th. Is it sounded a lot similar to CBS-FM from back in the pre-Jack days (1972-2005). Think about it.
