Audiovox Express

Bought my daughter a new XM receiver for her birthday a couple of weeks ago, signed her up for a year, and everything worked fine for 2 weeks. Now it appears the receiver is constantly loading and reloading and nothing is coming in. I think it could be a reception problem and maybe the repeaters aren't working in D.C. , but XM is still trying to tell her it a bad unit. I would appreciate any thoughts or suggestions about this problem. Thanks for all.

Go online to an auction site of your choice and buy a Sky-Fi 2 pretty cheap price and they work very well. Audiovox Express I've got one of those too and it's a piece of junk!

Amen on the SkyFi2! I've had mine for five years, dropped it numerous time, even left it exposed to the summer sun on the front seat of the car for six hours. Nothing seems to hurt it. The sun caused the display to burn out and fade for about 20 minutes, but it eventually returned to normal.

Problem is I gave her a boombox that only fits the Express and the Roadie, ( I think). Aren't the pins different?

Unfortunately, they are. The original boombox doesn't accommodate any model after the SkyFi2.
