Just got it. Having issues getting my sound card to work, Echo Mia. Can anyone help?

It WAS playing audio in the edit screen, but not the multi-track. So I played with it...and now it's not playing audio at all.

Help?

Did you check your device preferences in the 'Device Preferences' settings under the 'Options' window? Also, did you assign your tracks to the Mia?

In AA2 I don't think there is the familier "device settings" in options..For this program..go to--->EDIT--->Audio Hardware Settings

Check to make sure that the Echo Mia's driver is the default driver in EDIT, and MULTITRACK, AND SURROUND..categories.

If the Echo Mia's driver is not an ASIO driver..(try the Event website for a driver upgrade) or use the Audition Windows Sound driver as a default..but watch out for the peaks..they're a killer.and if using this default driver, in "advanced" check to see that the sound card is checked and is the primary input and output device.<P ID="edit"><FONT class="small">Edited by jefflaurence on 02/03/06 12:07 AM.</FONT></P>

Thanks Jeff! I'll give that a shot.

Do any of you know how to mixdown without first saving in Audition 2.0?
