Wow....
I was re-mixing a spot yesterday, and noticed that it sounded kind of flat..Burned a CD and went to the trusty F250 car radio to hear if it was just me or the monitors etc...Same thing..sounded..well..MONO!
I ripped apart my distribution amps thinking that somehow..something got crossed and the output of the amp feeding the computer with AA3 on it had mono'ed itself somehow..but no..all tests showed discrete L/R going to the sound card..Maybe I had placed a CD case or something on the MON button on the board, but no..everything was as it should be..BUT
Somehow..the Hardware Settings (in "edit") on AA3 had default selected to a single channel "1(m)" as the main source input on the Delta 44 cound cards we use. The output was as usual stereo or labeled "1/2(s)"
So I changed the selection from the drop down menu to use input 1 and 2 on the Delta 44 in STEREO mode "1/2(s)"
Bottom line if you are noticing any wierdness with the sound on Adobe Audition, might do well to check that the proper input is being used for your sound card.
