The latest KRLD-FM PD has his work cut out for him...down year/year and even farther behind KTCK and KESN than last August as both of those stations are up year/year (scroll down for the "Radio Daze" section of the article)...

Who is the latest KRLD-FM PD? Last I knew it was Tim Collins...Even then, he didn't carry the title "Program Director", they had him tabbed as "Executive Producer."

Do you ever listen to the Cowboys' radio broadcasts while watching the TV telecasts?

Do you know anyone who does?

Yes I do. That person is me. I have watched Dallas Cowboys Football that way for the past 25-28 years.

These days with satellites and digital distribution throughout the transmission paths for both radio and TV causing varying degrees of delay, it would be a sheer coincidence if both were in sync.

And I thought I was the only one.. Yeah, I've been watching games like that for years also. With DVR I can now pause the game, let the radio catch up and it's all good. Actually, this past weekend 105.3 was synced perfectly with Fox on HD..

SGT. Hans - Thanks for the link, I read through the thread and it didn't say anything about who is the PD. I know Bruce Gilbert is VP/News, Talk and Sports, but so was Bigby and the PD was Tim Collins. Is Bruce wearing both hats then?

I'm guessing Bruce is the defacto PD until someone else is named/hired.

I have to wonder- if your best ratings your station gets all day is at 11am, shouldn't you move that show to AM or PM drive so you can expose them to a larger audience? I'm not in the radio biz, but in every line of work I've been in, you want your most popular product to be available to the highest possible number of possible consumers.
