WOW! That's great to hear. WBRF is maligned by many in the radio business, but I'm impressed with what they do in the community and how many real live employees they have. That's not meant to be a joke. That station is what radio should be to it's community and service area. This is really good news. Good for Eloise.
If many in the radio business today are maligning you, then you're most likely doing something right...
WBRF and WKBC -- the only 2 big signal FMs in the area (that I can think of) that are still locally owned.
And, there's also Majic 94. Down toward Charlotte, it's 95.7 WXRC.

In a small way a bit of real radio will be back. Expect some numbers sucked away from other country.Probably nothing huge but a big enough bite.
And dang, Aunt Eloise must be doing what he likes doing and getting paid for it, so how bad can that be?
