Aurora - new AM log 6/22/15

I just had three new FM logs, and now just added a new AM station to that mix.

1390 - KLTX Long Beach, CA; good at 2300 PT with "Radio Nueva Vida" IDs and jingles in Spanish. Strong with 2nd SSer buried underneath (likely KLOC due to the auroral conditions). NEW #698, 3.6KW, 895 miles.
Usually 1390 is Salem OR but it was gone due to the aurora. KBBO has been off the air lately.

I actually saw the Northern Lights in Michigan around 2:00 AM EDT. Tried to photograph with cell phone and digital camera but it didn't work. It clouded over by about 3:00 AM, confirming my suspicion that I thought I saw them sometimes through the clouds on other occasions. I've seen more colorful displays. I told my spouse that I expected a sighting and she spotted it first. She was impressed at my prediction. AM was repeatedly wiped out except groundwave and high power directional skywaves. It would start to recover and then wipe out again.
