Aurora (not) still brings one new log 9/12/14

Hardly any Au. Very disappointing. But still got a new one that came in for a few minutes.

1050 - XED Mexicali, BCN; good with Regional Mexican music, and ID in SS at 2006 PT 9/12 mentioning XED, Mexicali, and California. NEW #610, 10KW, 1000 miles exactly!

Also heard briefly was the only CA Graveyard heard - 1400 KVTO Berkeley, CA, fair with Asian talk at times. About 600 miles, but then faded into nothing. On a real Aurora night it could have been heard all night swapping with a couple other CA/NV graveyards, but that didn't happen.

SW was really interesting around 0700z - strongest signal in years from 4885 Radio Clube do Para, 2kw from Belem, Brazil! Was so good I had to pull out the recorder and tape a sample. Portuguese talk and some music. Also heard carriers on 4755 (likely Brazil) and another on 4790 which was likely a 2.5KW station in Peru, but no IDs. The other odd thing? NO WWV ON 60M! Just WWVH in and out on 5000. WWCR still in on 4840 and 5085...interesting or what?
