Hank Stolz announced this morning on WTAG that Austin Davis died suddenly over the weekend. Austin worked mornings for many years on sister station WSRS and prior to that Oldies 103.3. He had no other details at this time.
 
I got to know Austin last year when he was on the air after me on Saturdays on B101.A nice fellow who was always fun to chat with. He constantly worried about his health, but he looked in pretty good shape. We talked about swimming a lot and his having "restless legs," sometimes known as the "jimmy legs." I called him up at WROR after he took a weekend job up there. He seemed to enjoy being back in Boston.Sorry he's gone. Too young.Steve Valentine
