Austin gets first HD newscast Nov. 1st

My question is: What took a station in this market so long to decide on this??
 
I just hope they don't spend 10 percent of their newscast telling you they are in HD / high definition. We heard you the first thousand times folks.
 
i just seen the advertisement about them having thier news in hd in nov 1 also, i wonder what is the difference having thier news in hd. i don't have a hd tv

very doubtful. i'm surprised that keye is the first newscast in hd in austin.
 
Too bad Fox7 didnt take the lead, guess i'll have to watch Lorianna HE-nandez in SD
 
KEYE had a lot of CBS money coming into it, I'd guess that's why they're first. Belo and Fox are cheap, and I don't know what KXAN is doing these days...........
