The preaching KNLE airs is mostly raw sermons. A lot of them are not really produced at all. Not like produced teaching ministry programs like Turning Point with Dr. David Jeremiah or Insight for Living with Chuck Swindoll. I know I have heard Paul Washer on KNLE a number of times. Not sure where they get the sermons or how the economics work. It might simply be that the sermon was moving to the station’s management and they wanted others to hear it too.

It might be run by a local church. In the 00s and 10s the station used to play local Christian music, little to no audio processing.
The music sounded as though an average group of people found KNLE and recorded some music to have fun on-air. I used to hear hip-hop, folk-style, some electro, pop-sounding stuff. But it all had Christian lyrics.
It's a shame they never started streaming, as that was totally unique and some of the music was good. One artist I heard on KNLE is this one covering classic rock songs with Christian lyrics.
Another couple artists I found:

I guess there isn't bad blood regarding the Saint Louis auction after all.
Looking over the Boost station list you find that K-Love owns the originating signals for most of the translators that carry the Boost format, so perhaps a relationship they want to retain.

Wonder if the Boost format might eventually be acquired by K-Love, Inc.? Would be a good fit with the current CCM and P&W offerings.

What about KYLR 92.1 up north? Is that Boost? I'd expect it to interfere with Boost if something different.
Or there was an existing contract since this is something that was announced well before the KDHX auction?
The two signals really don't overlap. I didn't notice them bothering each other when checking 92.1 during recent trips to the Austin area.

Maybe... the CP for the upgrade on the translator was done five months ago. Since then they have been running Air 1 on both on the 92.1 translator and it's primary KLVR 92.5, which makes no sense, considering KLVR is better everywhere and was Air 1 first.
It could be the situation has thawed and the original plan is now back in place. Or it could be that K-Love was contractually obligated to carry Boost due to a contractual obligations before the KDHX saga, but if so why put it on now? They have been paying rent to rebroadcast Air 1 for a long time for no obvious reason or benefit.
There is some interference in North Austin. If you are Downtown or south of the Colorado River (78704, etc.) or to and from the airport you wouldn't know though.

No, KYLR is and has been Radio Nueva Vida since earlier this year.
RNV is also on the 92.9 translator in Austin.

You are overthinking this.
KYLR covers central and eastern Williamson County for Radio Nueva Vida, while the 92.9 translator covers Travis County. K-Love Inc. wants both signals for RNV. Why would they lease out KYLR for Boost while reducing coverage for RNV?
The only “confusion” on 92.1 would be with anyone who commutes between Travis and Williamson Counties. The KYLR signal dies around the I-35/Toll 45 interchange, while K221GC is nulled towards the north. Just the reality of translators and lower powered FM stations in a large metro area these days.
