I know you may be about to give up on HD jras, but I heard something yesterday on Hot 93 which made me glad that there is at least one radio company paying attention to their HD stations (unlike CC). They are having a contest to name their new HD-2 Old School station, and making a pretty big deal about it! Sounds like they are giving away a flyaway and concert tickets to the person who names it. I thought it was cool because it's the first time I have ever heard a broadcaster actually fully embrace the technology on the air.

Is Hot broadcasting in HD yet? I noticed KVET and KHFI are both off. I cant even recieve half of the San antonio HD stations.

I just hooked up my HDRadio again, Hot93 is in HD they sound really good, if only I can get San antonio better!

Okay, so you are down near San Antonio (south of Austin) and you can get Hot's HD signal from a tower that is almost 40 miles NW of Austin, but have trouble getting San Antonio. Hummmm... San Antonio engineers must be using aluminum foil, OR are Austin engineers that much better. I have to say (engineeringly speaking) Austin stations (HD and Analog) sound better to me.

Yeah sounds like it I was getting the HD signal at 62-65db last night on my HD Tuner, San antonio if it did come in it would be around 54-56db.

KHFI-HD is back on... finally... but without their HD2. Wonder if they'll actually put the Pride format on.

My constant emails into Jay go unanswered... glad listeners have nothing to do with a success of a station.

A side note - Houston HD is pretty good.. KHMX is programming their side band as NRG 96.1HD2 and it rocks!

Yeah but even so, I wont go back to HD unless they change up the power which I dont think they can, but would be nice if they would.
