Austin Hill joins XM Satellite Radio

A story is posted at AllAccess.Com saying that Hill left 960 KKNT to work with XM radio. And a story here in the "news" section of radio info says he quit KKNT to do XM.

Hmmm.....maybe this explains some things. Good luck to Austin........

Just heard Hill on XM today. Very funny stuff. Never read his book before, but it made me want to (I guess that's the idea). Nice to see a local Phoenix radio person doing well nationally, but I wonder if he'll end up doing local talk radio again here in town (KTAR maybe?).

If he does nab a "live and local" gig on KT'R (assuming that the
hours-delayed Beckster is only a temporary placeholder) he sure
won't have to worry about replacing his rug, or getting hair implants.

Just a few strategically-placed on-air mentions and/or having certain
local business "guests" appear and he'll be set for his hair, laser eye
work, roof repair, water purifier, water softener (or is that the other
and original Nearly Bald One?), office furniture...what did I leave out?

Toaster repair?...nah, they don't do that anymore. ;D

Oh yeah, hand-me-down use of Deputy Dan's Mustang convertible
from Product Placement Ford in Laveen.

And lest we forget, he'd also inherit McBland's free lunch-a-day at
Bill Johnson's Big Apple.
