I'd rather have the old front row on the air.... Yea, it was tried on the Edge more or less, but that was then and today is a different era. This is local FM talk, we want to talk about smoking pot when we were in college, listening to Rush (not Rush the mouth, the real Rush), and stupid crap that makes us laugh. Anything but more rants from idiots (Hill) that don't know crap of what they're talking about.

Well I'm more to the right, and do listen to Rush, The Music group.
Jennifer Lipp, part of the original Front row is on the Blaze 105.1 in the morning and does some of the original segments like "freaks".
Back in the 80s what made me laugh was Dean and Don's Breakfast Club on KKDJ.

I was listening to Chris tonight (come on, it's one line Wednesday) and they were talking up the KRZR days. Interesting that more than a few of us from those days now catch him on KMJ.... Anyone remember Dingo Boy?

As for Dean and Don and the original Breakfast Club - perhaps the best morning show ever in Fresno radio. Better than Phillips and Wall or any other in my book.

I don't know if there is more from Boise, but doesn't Inga still do here show from Bakersfield?
Clear Channel is Famous for this to, Skippy does hear show in Fresno and for 96.7 in Modesto, KSOF, KALZ, and at night KRZR run mostly from a central hub CC station.
Carlota on the Blaze does her show from Las Vegas, but all other Lotus programming is local.

He's just written two books and is a national columnist and he used to work at KFI AM 640 in Los Angeles and works at WMAL in Washington, DC. But you're right he's an idiot and Peak Broadcasting is a real loser for having him and Hill is obviously a a loser for having the gig.

Chris and Brad Giese should team up again on 105.9. They did a great show on 106.9 in San Francisco called the grey area.

So Austin has started mentioning that his show is live from Radio City in Fresno. Did he move or is he lying?

A few months ago, he was broadcasting the Boise deal out of Phoenix. KIDO said he was moving to Boise. Who knows. Technically, the show doesn't sound as if its originating in Fresno.

Austin Hill is not doing his show from Fresno, Miggy "sounds like I'm eating" Santos is doing his show from Fresno, and tracks the mid days in Boise, he was origianally supppose to go to Boise but that never happened...he also tracks Mega 97.9 on Saturday or Sunday nights, can't remember...the rest of the air staff at y101 are locals, they just sound board, and though i was never a fan of Nicole (especially when she was on Jack FM) I must admit she has gotten alot better, sounds more relaxed...imaging is great btw...music is better than Alice 96.7
