Austin in Boston

For those who don't know - the Austin Davis thread is about Austin in Boston - the former morning guy forOldies 103. This is a horrible blow. The Boston music scene lost Paul Caruso at 50; I lost a cousin this week at 50 years old - a Catholic Priest with integrity who was helping the elderly - and now Austin at 56. This is all in the span of a couple of months. Just posting his stage name for those who aren't aware Austin Davis is the legendary Austin in Boston. R.I.P. We also lost Lynn Ciulla of Medford, one of the scenemakers on the Boston music scene - who was probably in her 50s. Much too young.

Is this the same "Austin in Boston", that did mornings on WVBF back in 1974, and also I believe, some part time on WBCN IN 1978???
As far as I know, I think that was a different "Austin of Boston" on WVBF and WBCN in the 70's.

As if you listen to Oldies stations and would know that. Hey, Michael Jackson was acquitted last year,on Oedi's birthday. There's some significance there...

Well obviously I do joe, Im a fan of good radio regardless of the format. plus I have many friends on air and behind the scenes at WODS, however that has little to do with the fact that he was known as "Austin of Boston", Im afriad you were wrong. No big deal, no need to try to make it into another fight.
