Austin Now Market #39

According to the new Arbitron market rankings Austin has moved up from market #42 to #39. This is the largest jump in the top 50 and tied for the largest rise in the top 100.

San Antonio has moved from #30 to #31 switching places with Salt Lake City.

I believe in terms of total market revenue Austin is even closer to San Antonio. Anyone have the most recent numbers?

austin is sure is growing, there must be at least 16 am's and about 30 fm's. austin is around 750-770,000 people living there. while san antonio is over 1.5 million people. i don't know how many radio stations they got in san antonio.

This will likely change once the census is release in 2010. Look for SA to be back in the Top 30.

#28 Cincinnati 1,773,000
#29 Cleveland 1,764,400
#30 Salt Lake 1,676,000
#31 SA 1,675,200
