Just creating this to keep track of all the pirate stations in Austin, LOL there have been so many changes recently that I might as well just create one thread.
*90.1 is operational as always, "Texas Liberty Radio" (Alex Jones style talk).
*91.1, formerly Spanish Christian programming, is off the air, not sure what happened.
*94.3 in south Austin with Spanish Christian is on the air but is suffering with audio problems that make it pretty much unlistenable.
*94.3 in downtown Austin, or www.PeopleWillRadio.org, is off the air. The website is still live though. Again not sure what happened.
*95.9 in Austin, formerly Radio Vida Austin (Spanish Christian), is still broadcasting it's dead carrier and hasn't played any audio since August when I let them know it was illegal to operate a pirate without a license. I'm again not sure but I guess they tried to turn it off, but can't fully turn it off for some reason?
Anyway the site is still live at http://vidaaustin.com.
All the info I believe to be correct, but I could be wrong. If I am or if I'm missing any pirates, let me know. Weird to see some of them go dark around the time of the Government shut-down when they wouldn't be busted. The ones I mentioned were off the air went dark sometime within the last 2 months or so I think.
San Antonio has no pirates that I know of so I can't say much about pirate radio in that city.
