Why is KLTO in the Austin raitings? I didnt think it made it up that way very clear?

i see some changes in the numbers among stations and other are still close to thier numbers last time.
it seems to be alot of stations flat or dropping. only very few have gained some points.

If KXBT 104.9 dosn't do anything to change their downward trend it may not be long before we see a flip on that station. Any guesses to how long and to what??? KLTO does come into the Austin listening area. I live on the southside of Austin and frequently can pick it up fairly clear though it does not come in clearly through the whole city. From downtown South you can pick it up on and off once you pass William Cannon then it comes in better.

I found out that KXBT is being programmed by Rudy Ramos and the APD/Music Director is Chico Rico. Even though I can't receive the beat no more up here in Killeen, I hope they run the station the way it used to run it the right way when it was with Entercom. I think the reason why the ratings dropped dramatically is because the signal. If they improve the signal to cover at least up to Georgetown clearly, static free, then I think the ratings should jump back up. The old signal at 104.3 is a rimshot, but it is stronger than the 1049 signal, plus the 1043 signal actually targetted where the most listeners were anyway (North, East, South, and the suburbs). The VP at Entercom don't understand that it targetted a good amount of people to keep the ratings up. They should've never sold the signal anyways despite not having full coverage.

I don't live in Williamson county but I can tell you that the frequency is not too bad as it is. You can still hear the station well all the way to San Marcos in the south .I went to Killeen a few months ago and could hear 104.9 well past Leander. I don't know how people can say its a worse signal when from what I can tell traveling around the city of Austin it picks up the same as it did before. You can hear it in the suburbs on the southside, northside, eastside. westside ect... The station is not bad, but unless they do something about the ratings wether its signal or not, I don't see them lasting more than a year.
