Austin's Pop 104.9 En Espanol

Does anyone have an opinion about Pop 104.9? This station plays American dance music and other American sounding music with Spanish lyrics and Spanish language disc jockeys.

How long has 104.9 been used in Austin?

I like that they play american dance. I wish english pop stations would do the same. I listen to spanish pop more then english if I can understand most of it I would listen to it more often. If KHFI would play something diffrent on Friday & saturday nights other then hiphop I would tune in more. The pop format on 104.9 was since October of 2004.

Unless you are refering to Digital's live club broadcast from
Element, Spiro's or Zocalo, there in no "American dance" music
during regular programming hours on Digital. The only non Spanish
language dance song you may occasionally hear on Digital is
O-Zone's "Dragostea din tei."

I don't have an opinion for the programming. The signal however is amazing for a class a move-in. I was in Austin this past weekend and found few holes. In the southern part of the metro it sounds city-grade. Not too suprising.

In downtown the signal is also very clean.

I was most suprised by how great it sounded up in Cedar Park and around Lake Travis.

Anyone else have any comments?
