austin's ratings

I SEE ON R AND R , THE NEWEST RATINGS :

COUNTRY STILL ON TOP, SPANISH 3RD PLACE WITH NEWSTALK, BOB IN 4TH PLACE , SLIPPING IS MAJIC,
STUCK IS CLASSIC ROCK, NEW ROCK, CONT CHRISTIAN AND MIX. IT'S SEEMS LIKE THE RATINGS REPEATING ITSELF AGAIN.

Country is still the big winner in Austin, and has been for years now, BobFM is still a big hit, KLBJ-AM number one in Talk radio, Regional Mexican seems to be working well in Austin, KDHT goes down as KXBT goes up a little, KAMX is still about the same, KFMK is slacking behind. 101X is holding in.

I like the programming on 101x. It used to be nothing but rock but now they play 80s new wave and alternative, some rap that would fit the format, along with the usual alternative rock and hard rock. I wish i coul still get this station in San Antonio but it gets blown away by a pirate station.

Report it! [email protected], its funny that the FCC went after XM because the new recievers put out to much RF, but they havnt cracked down on the pirate stations yet, there is still one near Gonzales or in Gonzales not real sure where the thing is, but in my truck kono & 101X gets blown away when I'm driving through. I'm surprised no one has reported it yet.

Finally KXBT goes back up into the 3's. KFMK sounds to good to be in the bottom of the ratings. Also just to let you know. Tazz Daddy (APD/MD/Midday Jock) on 104.3 has accepted a overnight shift on K104 in Dallas starting October 3. He has officially left the Beat yesterday.

12+ ratings aren't the best thing to go by in most cases.. If you break things down by demo, KFMK isn't doing bad at all.

That being said... expect a flip in less than two weeks (but not at KFMK)...
