KHFI has been sounding good here as of late, I like Jack FM better playlist than BobFM. I can see how they drop some but still holding out strong, Mix is pretty bad right now, I havnt listened to that station in years, Majic is ok their oldies station on HD sounds good. I think its time for KPEZ to change formats.

KHFI is winning because of their morning show. Not the format.
 
So ... how long till Bobby Bones jets for a bigger market? Or, will he stay now that CC appears interested in exporting him to other markets, such as ... wait for it ... Wichita.

Not true..look at the breakdowns. Very untrue statement you just made.
 
Im looking at the breakdowns. And, to be honest with you, Im partial to Sammy and Bob. When I worked in Austin, they were my favorite.

and the breakdowns show that the morning show doubles the station in every demo. Post your email address and Ill send them to you.
 
KHFI has absolutely ridiculous numbers in the morning... in their demo (women 18-35), the last three trends have gone somewhere around: 20, 21, 26... those are unreal numbers.. arbitron's changed some stuff up this year, and apparently it favors them..

Radio ratings do not rate households. It rates persons. A one rating is 1% of the total 12+ population in the market (see the data on arbitron.com for data) or 1% of any poarticulary demo you are looking at. A rating point is 1% of the total population in any group under study, called the "universe."

A share point is a percent of people who are listening to radio, while a rating point is a percentage of listeners and non listeners in a time period... which is why shares are a lot bigger than ratings.
