Internet radio is the way of the future. Once car makers start making cars with wifi in every vehicle internet stations are going to get a lot more popular. Internet stations can be global while terrestrial stations are limited to how far their sticks take their signal. Having said that I believe there will still be local radio and the two can co-exist.

Not if they're jukeboxes programmed by someone who knows nothing about the local community.

LOCAL is radio's future.

It's the only thing you can't get from the net.

Don't forget satellite radio. It's a much more efficient use of spectrum than streaming to individual handsets.

It would make sense to have something "on" this site when you send out a press release or leak the story to the fishwrapper, right?

I went to "Austinstalkin.com" and there's....nothing there.

Are you sure it's talk radio, and not a stalker site? Austin Stalkin? Maybe they need to hire someone to do PR and "plan" these things, since its obvious that whoever's running these stations isn't the brightest bulb in the box.
