Displaced "98.9 The Big Talker" morning host Sean Rima is reportedly going to be part of a brand new Internet radio station, launched by 98.9 owner Border Media, to be called AustinsTalkin.com (was "AustinsTalking.com" not available?).

Internet radio is the way of the future. Once car makers start making cars with wifi in every vehicle internet stations are going to get a lot more popular. Internet stations can be global while terrestrial stations are limited to how far their sticks take their signal. Having said that I believe there will still be local radio and the two can co-exist.

I went to "Austinstalkin.com" and there's....nothing there.

Are you sure it's talk radio, and not a stalker site? Austin Stalkin? Maybe they need to hire someone to do PR and "plan" these things, since its obvious that whoever's running these stations isn't the brightest bulb in the box.
