Ernie is a grad of Berklee, and the rest of the band have played with some notable bands.

If I can get over to Newbury Comics I want a copy of the CD

I'd love to know what he paid out to CC for that? I'm sure it was not short money.

I'd venture at lease timed rates for a month it was at least 35 grand.

I wonder if CC cut him a deal, based on the amount of spots he buys from CC on Kiss and Jam'n?

But the 64 dollar question is will CC flip 1200 and 1430 when this is all over?

well im not a **** who likes that crap i would rather here the automatics cd in a loop as well as other music of that type or even wxks am newsradio to go up against wbz

So Ernie Boch, the inheritor of an estate but a fairly shrewd businessman in his own right, dropped a chunck of change to promote his band on AM1430.

But wait! "NOBODY LISTENS TO MUSIC ON AM!' Or so goes the mantra parroted by everyone in radio. Ernie Boch obviously didn't get the memo.

Bottom line - if the gambit works, then ENOUGH PEOPLE ARE WILLING TO LISTEN TO MUSIC ON AM TO MAKE A DIFFERENCE FOR AT LEAST ONE INVESTOR.

And (Oh .. MY .. God) the damn stuff is locally programmed!!!!!!!!!

Could be just the sea-change that radio needs!
