At my cluster we use Scott Studios (AS32). One thing that I don't like is that if I am playing a clip live on the air, either stacked or on a hot key, there is no way to pause a clip.
I listen to Howard Stern alot and he does this all the time. He'll be playing a clip, and then he'll pause it so they can discuss it, and then he'll start the clip again. (where he stopped...not at the beginning).
This seems like such a basic feature, and I'm wondering if it was just an oversight from the Scott crew or maybe there is a reason for it.
Do other automation systems have this "feature"?
I believe Howard Stern uses prophet (or whatever they're calling themselves these days" so I assume you can do it on that system...Can the others?
Also, I realize it could easily be done using media player or something similar, but a basic feature like this should be available. Seems like a huge blunder to me.
Also, Is this fixed (implemented) on the new Google automation?
