Automation Software Query

Greetings!

I'm looking for automation software. Basic automation which will be run remotely, not live assist in a studio.
Just going to load it up with music, commercials, sweepers and let it run. I'd like to have music scheduling and automation
in the same software..Would rather not buy something like Audio Vault and Music Master...Something cheap and reliable, in one.

Any input is welcome!

For the money, SAM Broadcaster does the trick.

That looks pretty sweet. Wish I would've found that before SAM. Don't get me wrong, I like SAM, just found a few things that frustrate me about it.

I have no need to automate at the moment as I only do a four hour live show..but what I like was the skin of the Turntable setting..really like old school stuff as I am so old school..lol....this also is free and I think will allow scheduling ..I have it..but I haven't taken time to figure it out completely..again..it's old school look makes me feel at home...http://www.virtualdj.com/

I've used Virtual DJ for many years. It's great for parties and live events but not good as a play-out system.

Best thing to use for Internet Radio? StationPlaylist hands down. http://www.stationplaylist.com. My whole cluster uses it and you couldn't tell us apart from an FM station, we sound that good thanks to StationPlaylist.

I must Dakotam0813 in regards to StationPlaylist. It provides for a tight and consistent on-air presentation that in indistinguishable from a live operation (except it doesn't faultier like a live operator).

I originally authored the Radio World review for version 4.0 but there have been many added features in version 5. Below is a link to the review in broadcast trade paper Radio World:

Thanks very much for the replies! This really helps me. I just downloaded the demo SPL...Studio and Creator. I'm well versed in Music Master through the terrestrial stations i've worked for...Creator seems rather basic and Easy!

I used SAM Broadcaster for several years, but have now moved over to a "Cloud DJ" product that is more flexible than your typical "Auto DJ" product that most streaming companies provide. It works great, is very reliable and I don't have to dedicate a PC to be running 24/7. It all runs in the cloud and thus I don't have to worry about power outages, etc.
