Have no idea what they use but the major ones that I know of are:
NexGen
Scott Studios
Audio Vault
Dalet - one of the most powerful but expensive systems

I don't know if they use a single system throughout the company, but my understanding is that at least a few of Federated's stations use AudioVault. Jeff DeWeese at Froggy 102.7 reads these boards occasionally. So, he could probably tell you for sure if he sees your post.

WTRC in Elkhart deployed Audiovault when they first became automated back in the early 90's... I would guess that Froggy and the stations at Planet Radio are utilizing Audiovault as well.

It's my understanding that they use Audiovault company-wide. It makes sense.

You may want to check out Automatronix by JT Communications
(www.automatronix.com). We use it on our station; its great. Very user fiendly, and you can download the fully-working demo.

This looks like it would be a great system to use if one wanted to start an Internet Only station. I might have to look into that..

Federated Media has been using Audiovault since I started working there in 1995. When I left in 2003 there was talk of changing and I've heard rumblings that they are moving to something else.
