Dj's: $250,000.00-750,000.00
Pd's: $125,000.00-2,000,000.00
Traffic reporters: $95,000.00-350,000.00
of course this varies.

DJs - range from 30-60. Morning from 70-200K. PDs - 50-100K all depending on the station and the talent. Some contracts, some not. Just depends on the station. And don't forget, lots of stations voice track at a fraction of the cost.
Radio has not been a very lucrative career lately. Fewer jobs, those that have them have double the responsibility WITHOUT double the pay! A sad state for those of us who loved radio at one time.

If they're offering you $7.25 an hour--$15K annualized, for a 40-hour week, on a competitive station in market #45--they're not making you an "offer," they're providing you with a "critique" amounting to "career counseling."
As in, you ain't got it, Son, so you'd best find another way to make a living.
It's a talent biz. Like singin' or dancin' or carrying a football. Some people just keep on trying, even when they get tackled for losses on every carry...
