He is a talk radio legend/veteran....I doubt they will get rid of him =]~

Not being syndicated may be why you never heard of him.
Which may or may not be a bad thing given the quality of syndicated shows these days. Plenty of syndicated shows are blanketing the airwaves.
If your expecting the usual and customary syndicated talk, KFNC may not suit your pallet.

AW was on 105.3 Young Country in Dallas...then when it went talk, he was there for a while but got let go by Infinity and moved north....to Detroit...which is where he was when he took this gig....
Personally, I didnt know AW in Dallas, and I am not too impressed so far here..
I think it was a Martha thing....she had been out of work in Dallas (Last I recall she was doing traffic on one of the groups up there but that was it) and likely with Pat Fant and Jim Pruett getting together, they approached her and she said why not get AW?
But still he doesnt impress me on 97.5...I didnt listen to him enough on 105.3 to really know him there...(I DO know he was the one that got the station in trouble with Ft Worth when he mentioned on the air about a hidden money ticket in the Ft Worth library...listeners TORE the place up looking for something that didnt exist!!! The station had to pay a fine and repay the library for the damage....)

give the guy a chance! He was HUGE in Dallas when he worked for Young Country. I would laugh my a$% off listening to him on my way home. Wait till he gets going..... I wish he were back in Dallas!!!
