Could this song finally be making headway at CHR? I heard it for the first time on a CC station on Saturday, KJYO. Previously, I had only heard it on the stations owned by smaller companies that actually locally program there stations, although I guess KJYO is also locally programmed to some extent. Not only did I hear it here, but less than an hour later while listening to the same station, I heard it on Open House Party.

It's heading up the charts. Heard it on WFBC in Greenville, SC. In fact, I started a thread in the Alternative forum on it. Find it strange that an almost two year old song that really stretches the Alt to CHR crossover to its limits is making headway. It actually kind of made me cringe. Don't get me wrong, I listen to CHR as well as Alternative but I think labels are really trying to milk the recent trend of crossovers. I just don't feel like "Sail" in no way shape or form belongs on CHR.
Anyway, you can read my post on the Alternative board but, in general, I feel like it's almost a threat to that format, which is making a comeback from oversaturation of Active rock.
