Not sure but this may have been modeled after 99 X in Atlanta.. The music mix is a broad mix of new and old Alternative Music, Including Brand new tracks, and also alot of 80s and 90s alternative... They Dont seem to play the more Poppy stuff like Fun and Mumford and Sons,, But they do play some Electronica like Moby,,, New Wave,, Punk, and Even a splash of Dubstep. http://99xindiana.weebly.com Station is on air at 98.9, but with a very limited signal...

The name may have been taken from 99X. But that playlist is WAY more diverse than 99X was, particularly in the later years before it closed shop. In the beginning, 99X was a lot more diverse, but they tightened their playlist drastically over the years. Obviously, it didn't work.

Well fella's Since you last listened I tightened the playlist to make it sound like a Current Based ALT Rock Station..... It sounded too much like a train wreck going from Nirvana, to talking heads,,, to the Clash,,, into Fing Finger Death Punch,, and then into New Wave.... But nothing is wrtten in stone. My orginal plan was to play all the songs made popular on KROQ<, both Classics and new...But now I put the Classic Alternative as a Sunday special,, the FlashBack Cafe... Let me know what you guys think of the tightened playlist http://99xindiana.weebly.com

One more thing,,,, Our stream was lagging at 128,,, I dropped it to 40 k ACC 2.........But with using an optimode prcessor,,, so it still sounds amazing,, and it will play better on your mobil devices

And one last thing.... 90s is still heard in regular rotation..... but I save the 70s and 80s alt for sundays flashback cafe,, which airs at the same time X 103 and 92.3 wtts is airing the mellow stuff
