My hometown of Columbus, Ohio... Clear Channel has introduced a new format, called "GenX" which is playing mostly 90's pop, rock, dance, r&b, etc... here's their playlist from the last hour...

Ok... Seriously guys! Reading about format changes in a different market, is REALLY annoying! Next time, if any foreginers decide to post about a format change on this forum, it better be in SA/Austin/Central TX! THANK YOU! Geesus Chryst! ... seriously!
 
Wow! Even in our Phoenix section, we haven't become so bored that other people had to come in our sections to "liven things up with new news"!

I guess nothing is really going on in San Antonio - but normally that's a good thing because that means no one is about to lose a job or lose a station...etc. I know I know - changes are all exciting to read - as long as it's not affecting you.

I'm thinking of posting my own new post here about our Independence Day Mix Weekend on KZON and KKFR and L.A.s Power 106.
 
I live in Austin... i put it out there because it's an interesting format that I've never seen in ANY market before and thought people might be interested in it. I also posted something on Columbus' page once about how I think KGSR's format is something they need up there, and no one was rude about it in the least.
 
Well good for them. No one was rude here either. ;) YAY! And the GenX format is not new. In Louisville, Kentucky, WLUE switched from Adult Contemporary to 90s Hits WLGX GenX 100.5 in the summer of 2009. So the format is not new.
 
No, someone was being rude here. I'm from Columbus and I do support Gen X and would want anyone that had a good idea for a format to ask us on the Columbus boards what we think.

Austin, way to get your panties in a bunch! You're the only one acting like a fool right now. I agree the title should've been renamed "Would This Work in SA?" or something in that matter, but still, this was a suggestion to the market. You brag about being Wild949Austin? That's a great station, if you're affiliated with it, stick to it...... seriously!
