AWESOME St. Louis tropo in Southern Michigan

I had an AWESOME tropo on Fri. night with all signals coming from the southwest of Coldwater. When the dust settled, I had 10 new stations with 9 of them being St. Louis stations. Here is a list of my new stations

93.7- KSD- St. Louis, MO- Country- Commercial mentioning Collinsville and a 314 area code. My brother later confirmed that the webcast was indeed the same thing I was hearing. 365 miles away NEW #638

88.7- WSIE- Edwardsville, IL- Jazz- Probably the best signal of them all. 342 miles away. NEW #639

96.3- KIHT- St. Louis, MO- Classic Rock- Playing "Karn Evil 9" by EL&P. Confirmed through stoneage.yes.com. 365 miles away NEW #640

98.1- KYKY- St. Louis, MO- Hot AC- Playing "Damn! I Wish I Was Your Lover" by Sophie B. Hawkins. Confirmed through stoneage.yes.com 365 miles away. NEW #641

102.5- KEZK- St. Louis, MO- AC- Heard with 'Delilah'. Assumed KEZK. NEW #642

106.1- WSMI- Litchfield, IL- Country- Very hometown sounding country station. Call letter mention. At 305 miles, this was the shortest new catch of the night. But it's still a catch! The 643rd one to be exact.

91.5- KSIV- St. Louis, MO- Religious- Mention of church in nearby Collinsville, IL. 365 miles away. NEW #644

97.1- KFTK- Florrisant, MO- Talk- Mention of I-70. Assumed KFTK. This was my longest catch of the night at 373 miles. It's also my longest tropo catch ever, barely edging out WIL-92.3 (first received in August 2004) by just one mile. NEW #645

107.7- KSLZ- St. Louis, MO- Top 40. Heard with "Just A Lil' Bit" by 50 Cent followed by "Girl" by Destiny's Child. VERY weak under local WRKR. Confirmed though stoneage.yes.com By confirming KSLZ, I have now received at least two signals on every FM frequency. I never thought KSLZ would be the non-local station I would finally get on 107.7. This station is (once again) 365 miles away. It is new log #646.

106.5- WARH- Granite City, IL- Variety Hits. Heard with "Any Way You Want It" by Journey. Confirmed through stoneage.yes.com This wasn't as hard of a catch as KSLZ. This station is new log #647 and you can take a wild guess how many miles away it is. :)

This was one of my best tropo events EVER. And to make things even better, it seems to be rehashing again this evening! (7-23) I have already relogged KEZK-102.5 as well as WIL-92.3, which I actually did not get last night!

I'm starting to get more too. Especially West Michigan and Northeast Wisconsin from my location in Southeast Wisconsin. I'll keep a look out<P ID="signature">______________
