Friday, I was driving back toward Houston from Lafayette, LA area...and was listening to RED 93.7 out of New Iberia/Baton Rouge..then suddenly the band shifted and I thought maybe the Arrow (KKRW Houston) was coming in...but then I realized it wasnt a classic rock song....hmmm no, it wasnt RED (which has a Jack style format)...finally heard a sweeper for "93 7 KRQ".....hmmm new one on me...so I got home and looked it up...Tucson AZ!!! WOW!!! hadnt heard that one before.....gotta let their Chief Egr know about this!Of course, the 6mtr ham band is open as well....and it still is today....so fire up the radios and see what DX you can get on the FM band (if you can ;)Enjoy...

We had an Email this week that said KLPX was also heard in Houston, It was rock so they werent hearing KPLX..Its all them Alien Spaceships floating around out there DX'ingLamey

Several days ago as I was driving in Sahuarita, I pushed my car button for 97.5 "Bob" but what did I hear? Houston FM-talker KFNC. Scanning the dial, I also noticed a fairly strong Spanish station on 103.3 which I suspect might have been KJOJ in Freeport, TX. 103.3 is usually a pretty dead fequency around here.
