AZ Repulsive's take on May sweeps

According to Randy Cordova of the AZ Republic sweeps is only from April 27 through May 4th!?!Stations share May's Nielsen honors Randy Cordova The Arizona Republic May. 27, 2006 12:00 AM The results of the May sweeps for local television came back this week, and the Nielsen figures brought a mix of news for Valley stations. The Nielsen ratings measure the percentage of all TV households in a certain market tuned to a specific station. A share represents the percentage of the audience currently watching television. The period being measured is April 27 through May 4.

I can see that as their out."Oops, due to a computer problem, we neglected to add the two to make it...", I can't even make a joke of it.Overall, this is nothing but spin, and the general public has no clue.Being #1 in a certain time period generally doesn't mean squat to those who work it.I'm paid the same, be it #1 or #6.The general public sees it as "the station that knows".By itself, thats just wrong.
